National child welfare report card rates Connecticut

A national report card on how children are doing shows one out of every four children in Connecticut live with a family where no one has a full-time job, 4 percent of school-aged teens have dropped out of school, one out of every ten children live in poverty and one-third in a single-parent household.

When compared to other states on these measures, children overall in Connecticut are doing better than 44 other states.
