Since I started five weeks ago, I make it a point to ask people why they visit The Connecticut Mirror. Their answers always go back to one reason – The CT Mirror offers news and information that no one else in the state is producing.

We launched a new individual donor page today that you can find here with different levels of support. As The Mirror continues to grow, please remember that we operate differently than most other news organizations. As one of a few of the new breed of nonprofit news organizations in the country, we close our fourth year because of the generosity of state and national foundations, businesses, organizations and philanthropic individuals who see the value in high-quality content that shines a light on what’s really going on in our state.
We appreciate all the support regardless of donation level. That is why we created a tier system that starts at $35 annually and rises to $1,000.
There is something for everyone – all 3.5 million people in Connecticut. Levels include:
– Admission to our CT Mirror Public Policy Event in April;
– An “Engage Connecticut” T-Shirt or Mug;
– Exclusive video reports during the coming legislative session;
– Exclusive promotions at CT Mirror Tour events
