Even though his WNPR studio is on Asylum Avenue in Hartford, about half way between the Executive Residence and the State Capitol, John Dankosky never managed to get Gov. M. Jodi Rell to drop in for a chat on his daily, one-hour public affairs show, “Where We Live.”

But her successor, Dannel P. Malloy, shows signs of becoming a regular. He’s been on for the full hour at least four times since last August, appearing a week before the Democratic primary, a week before the general election and then on March 25 as governor.

He sits down Wednesday at 9 a.m. for 60 minutes of Q & A, with the questions coming from Dankosky and callers. In the Hartford area, the show is found at 90.5 FM.

Malloy is expected to look back on his first year and ahead to the coming year.
