Just slightly overshadowed by the New Hampshire primary, there also is an election in Connecticut today.
Voters in the 24th House District of New Britain and Newington will choose a successor to Tim O’Brien, who resigned his House seat after his election as mayor of New Britain.
The choices are Democrat Rick Lopes, Republican Peter Steele and Thomas Bozek, a former state senator who has run as a Democrat, a Republican and now is seeking a return to Hartford as a petitioning candidate.
