A legislative committee has given the nod to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s choice of education commissioner. Stefan Pryor, who has been on the job since October, is certain to have a busy next three months as he helps shepherd through the governor’s education agenda.
Pryor has been able to lead the department the past few months while he awaits confirmation.

Before joining CT Mirror, Jacqueline was a reporter, online editor and website developer for The Washington Post Co.’s Maryland newspaper chains. Jacqueline received an undergraduate degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and a master’s in public policy from Trinity College.
