The Democratic Senatorial Campaign committee is spending another $320,000 to keep airing attack ads against Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon, a Democratic source said.

The new ad buy comes as Rep. Chris Murphy, D-5th District, ratchets up his attacks on McMahon, linking her to controversial budget cuts proposed by conservative Republicans and an amendment that would eliminate an Affordable Care Act requirement that employers include birth control coverage in their employees’ health care.

Meanwhile, the DSCC is blasting McMahon, a former World Wrestling Entertainment executive because the WWE has scrubbed archived videos that are lewd and depict violence against women.

The DSCC’s new ad buy follows an initial investment of $320,000 in Murphy’s campaign last week.

McMahon, meanwhile, continues bashing Murphy for obtaining what she called a “sweetheart deal’ on a mortgage from Webster Bank — even after he missed payments on another loan from the same lender.
