Health reform experts, including the head of the state’s marketplace for buying health insurance, will be available to answer questions during seven “Healthy Chat” forums in cities across the state over the next month.

Panelists include Kevin Counihan, CEO of the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange — a marketplace for people to buy coverage beginning in 2014. The forums are free and open to the public.

Each forum will open at 5 p.m. with registration and refreshments. Discussions will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Registration is not required, but organizers are encouraging it to ensure adequate seating.

The dates and locations are:

Hartford: Tuesday, Nov. 27, Hartford Public Library, 500 Main St., Center for Contemporary Culture

Waterbury: Thursday, Nov. 29, Waterbury City Hall, 235 Grand St., Veterans Memorial Hall, Room 225

New London: Tuesday, Dec. 4, Mitchell College, 437 Pequot Ave., Clarke Center Auditorium

New Haven: Thursday, Dec. 6, Hill Regional Career High School, 140 Legion Ave.

New Britain: Tuesday, Dec. 11, Central Connecticut State University, 1615 Stanley St., Memorial Hall, Constitution Room

Stamford: Thursday, Dec. 13, University of Connecticut Stamford, 1 University Place, Gen Re Auditorium

Bridgeport: Tuesday, Dec. 18, Bridgeport Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center, 1070 Main St., Harbor Ballroom
