Blumenthal to co-sponsor Women’s Reproductive Health Act
U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal and five other members of Congress will outline a legislative response Wednesday to state attempts to limit access to abortion services: the “Women’s Reproductive Health Act of 2013.” Their press conference will be streamed live 2:30 p.m. It can be viewed by clicking here.
The other congressional participants will be U.S. Sens. Tammy Baldwin, Barbara Boxer and U.S. Reps. Judy Chu, Marcia Fudge, and Lois Frankel. Others to speak are: Walter Dellinger, a Duke University law professor; Nancy Northup, the chief executive of the Center for Reproductive Rights; Alexis McGill Johnson, board chair of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and Ilyse Hogue, the president of NARAL.
