Malloy cancels raises for almost 2,000 managers, appointees
The 3 percent pay raises that nearly 2,000 non-union state managers and appointed staff were expecting to begin receiving Friday have been canceled, the Malloy administration told state agency leaders Monday afternoon.

In none of those elections has he ever identified himself as a Democrat. He has run as either a socialist, or independent, but never as a Democrat.

The military’s health program falls significantly short in providing mental health care to active service members, according to a RAND Corp. study published Thursday. The study focuses on post-traumatic stress disorder and depression, the two most common mental health conditions experienced in the armed services.
