Trump’s instant injury to the Puerto Rican soul

I would like to stay calm but I can’t. I can stay silent, but I must not. In light of the predicted devastation that Hurricane Florence may bring to the Carolinas, President Donald Trump’s fingers have once again taken a life of their own on Twiyter.  He has attempted to create an alternative reality.  People who do not know the facts about Hurricane María and Puerto Rico may be ready to accept them.
I won´t.  He is a demagogue.

Congress moves towards approval of massive anti-opioid bill

WASHINGTON – Congress is finally close to passing a comprehensive bill to combat opioid abuse, combining law enforcement and public health measures, including making addiction services more accessible. The massive bill, which includes provisions introduced by dozens of lawmakers, including Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, is considered a rare bipartisan accomplishment.

Not an anonymous coward, but a courageous patriot

The op-ed that was published in the New York Times last week confirmed what most Americans already knew – that President Donald Trump is incompetent, ignorant and dangerous. The identity of the White House official who wrote that editorial should absolutely not be named by the newspaper and should most certainly stay in the job and continue to protect our county from its worst enemy.
