Several churches in Bridgeport are hosting pop-up test sites run by Optimus through the summer as part of a Department of Public Health push to increase testing in underserved communities. Webb, a preacher at the church, decided to be tested because she grocery shops several times a week for elderly members of the congregation to limit their potential exposure. “Best to be safe than sorry,” said Webb.
