Capitol protest-12

Duncan Lemp, of Norwich, takes a picture of a statue at a protest at the state Capitol Sunday, January 17. Lemp was one of a handful of people who attended what was billed as a protest ahead of the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday. Lemp, a self-described Libertarian/anarchist, was there to protest for gun rights and against COVID-19 restrictions and police brutality. “I want to protest for freedom,” he said. An expected crowd of about 2,000 people never materialized. He said his flag symbolizes unity. Cloe Poisson / CTMirror.org
