Bryan Jordan

Bryan Jordan was one of 12 incarcerated people selected of more than 600 applicants to be a part of the Yale Prison Eduction Initiative’s inaugural class. An attachment in Jordan’s sentence modification reads: “Mr. Jordan immediately demonstrated himself to be an extraordinary candidate. In his written component, when asked why he wished to enroll in the program, he responded, ‘To help myself become a better reflection of what I believe I am capable becoming if given access to a structured education.'” Credit: Courtesy Zelda Roland
