The drive-up event was planned as an alternative way to celebrate the Class of 2020 while maintaining social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents dropped off their graduate near the podium to let them walk to pick up their diploma and have photos taken before picking them up a few car lenghts further along.
