The group, organized by Moral Monday CT, founded by the Selders, is holding the fast from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily until Gov. Ned Lamont sets a date for a special session of the state legislature to address policing policy after two weeks of protests for the killing of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis on Memorial Day. The group prays once every hour.
