CT unemployment rate hits lowest mark since July 2008
Connecticutâs unemployment rate dropped to 5.7 percent in June, its lowest point since July 2008, as the state added 600 jobs last month â including 2,600 in the private sector that offset losses in government employment, the state Department of Labor reported Monday.
