A group of protestors from the immigrant and black communities march silently and in single file along Grand Street in New Haven to the New Haven Green to show their solidarity in fighting against racial injustice last June. Cloe Poisson / CTMirror.org

The march was organized by New Haven advocacy groups Unidad Latina en Accion and Black and Brown United in Action. The march ended on the steps of city hall where the protestors stood silently for 8 minutes and 46 seconds to mark the amount of time a Minneapolis police officer knelt on George FloydÕs neck during an arrest, killing him, on Memorial Day.
