Tom Delnicki was born in South Windsor, where he still lives. He graduated from South Windsor High in 1974. Delnicki earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. He retired from the Metropolitan District as a facilities/maintenance supervisor. Additionally, he served on the South Windsor Town Council from 1995 to 2007 and began serving in the same capacity in 2009. During his time on the Council, Tom has been mayor twice, deputy mayor, and served on the first Strategic Planning Committee formed in 1999.
