Bobby Sanchez
Bobby Sanchez, of New Britain, ended his time serving in the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2025, after his election to the position of mayor of New Britain.
Sanchez earned a bachelor’s degree from Springfield College. Sanchez works for Human Resources Agency as a case manager and fatherhood initiative coordinator.
A former New Britain Board of Education member, he has also served on different local organizations and boards such as: Citizens for Action in New Britain, the Federal Housing Residents Council, the New Britain Democratic Town Committee, the New Britain Human Rights Commission, and was selected by the City’s Town Council to serve on the City’s Housing Coalition Board.
