Kevin Ryan

Kevin Ryan first assumed office in 1993. He served in the capacity at the time of his death at 73 in November 2025.

Ryan’s professional experience included working as a Justice of the Peace, clinician at HESC, and adjunct professor of physics at the University of New Haven. He had been a clinician with Exemplar, optometrist with the Connecticut Visual Health Center, and vice president of Uncas Foods Incorporated. Mobile Medical Testing Service.

Ryan was president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Connecticut, on the advisory board of Eastern Connecticut Cable TV, and was a member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus, Montville Rotary, and Moose Club.
