Laurie Sweet (Democratic Party) is a member-elect of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 91. She assumed office on January 8, 2025.
Sweet (Democratic Party, Working Families Party) ran for election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 91. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024. She advanced from the Democratic primary on August 13, 2024.
Laurie Sweet earned a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College in 2002, a graduate degree from New York University in 2004, and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 2009.
