Jason Perillo

Towns represented: Monroe, Seymour, Shelton, Stratford

Jason Perillo, of Shelton, joined the Senate after winning a special election in February 2025. Before he was sworn in, he resigned his seat as a state representative, which he had held since 2006. The 21st Senate District includes the towns of Monroe, Seymour, Shelton and Stratford. Perillo has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston College, according to the biography on his official legislator page. Perillo, who is a certified public accountant, also holds a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
