Throughout the month of March, all donations to ctmirror.org will support an interactive project and in-depth reporting focused on childhood trauma.

The core component of this year-long project will focus on the emerging research in the neuroscience field, early-childhood exposure to stress and the potential lasting personal and societal impact that influences public policy. Through in-depth reporting, a balance of scientific and legislative analysis and reportage will be produced. While legislation related to mental health was adopted in 2013, additional proposals are expected to be put forward in 2014, with significant budgetary implications and human consequences. This project will show how science and policy intersect, one of the most complex equations in government from both a political and ideological approach.

For more information on the proposed project, outcomes and purpose, please go to the CT Mirror 2014 Projects website here. We hope to reach our goal by the end of the month, so please feel free to share with friends and colleagues who understand the importance of this issue.

We thank you for your donation and support.
