“Fiscal Sustainability: Critical to Connecticut’s Growth,” the fourth in a series of programs throughout the year discussing the state’s fiscal challenges and opportunities, will take place Thursday at the New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Ave., New Haven.
A distinguished panel will examine Connecticut’s ability to sustain investments in education, transportation, and other elements of a strong economy. The issues figure prominently in the 2014 gubernatorial and legislative races. The event is sponsored by Webster Bank.
The panel includes:
- Benjamin Barnes, secretary of the state Office of Policy and Management
- Spencer Cain, president of Cain Associates LLC, business consultants.
- Keith Phaneuf, state budget reporter for The Connecticut Mirror
- Brian A. Renstrom, partner of CPA firm BlumShapiro.
John Emra, President of AT&T Connecticut, will moderate.
