After the latest judicial confirmation process, I’m am convinced that Republicans (as a party, not necessarily individuals who identify with the party) exist to legitimize the progressive, experimental nature of the Democratic party. It’s a parasitism, symbiotic relationship I suppose. Look closely, and you’ll see what I mean…

The Electoral College is unconstitutional
If voting is a “right” after a citizen turns 18 years old, then counting a citizen’s vote as null because of the state in which they reside is the equivalent of no vote at all, and a direct infringement on the “right to vote.” For a single vote towards a person of their choice should count as one, not as none.

Body cams will help protect police from troublesome citizens, too
I have been a law enforcement officer with a mid-sized municipal agency for almost five years. The debate over whether officers should be wearing body cameras to me seems long overdue, but not for the reasons most are talking about. The reason I believe police should wear body cameras is to me not just a matter of checking our integrity and conduct (although that certainly will be a benefit), but is more a matter of checking the integrity and conduct of the people we come into contact with.
