Offshore wind projects can set Connecticut on a path towards lower energy costs, cleaner air, healthier communities, and a more reliable grid.

Supporters of clean air and climate are left wondering if Connecticut’s leaders will stand up for policies they robustly supported as recently as 2022. 

Gov. Ned Lamont, DEEP and the General Assembly must put the health of our community and climate first and move swiftly to adopt both the ACT and ACC II.

Connecticut must steer itself and the New England region away from natural gas. Our state must become a champion for less fossil fuel dependence and more renewable energy.
