Gov. Ned Lamont joins us at the end of the first day of reopening in Connecticut to give us his read on Day 1 and outline what to expect in the second and third phases of reopening.

Gov. Ned Lamont

Date: Thursday, May 21, 2020

Gov. Ned Lamont is cautiously optimistic, if not upbeat about Connecticut’s prospects for a safe and successful reopening.

In this special edition of “Steady Habits,” the governor offers his initial reaction as the first day of reopening was winding down in Connecticut. He also provided details on Phase 2 and Phase 3 of reopening, which are potentially one and two months away, respectively. He and host John Dankosky talk about the state’s preparedness for flare-ups and plans to continue expanding testing and contact tracing.

Later, the two also discuss the dissolution of the public-private education partnership with hedge fund mogul Ray Dalio’s foundation.
