Juan Candelaria, of New Haven, was a Town Committee ward chair from 1999-2005, and an alderman for the City of New Haven from 2001-2002.

Candelaria’s professional experience includes working in business development and as a sales manager with TD Bank North.

He is a member of the Centro San Jose, Latino Youth Development, Hill Development Corporation, Regional Workforce, and is Vice President of the General Assembly Black and Puerto Rican Caucus.
