Lezlye Zupkus, of Prospect, graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. Her professional experience includes working as director of development and volunteer services for Special Olympics Connecticut and as state director of Best Buddies Connecticut. She has served on the Board of Directors of Holy Cross High School, the Prospect Planning and Zoning Commission, and on the Prospect Republican Town Committee. In 2014, Zupkus was awarded the title of a Community Champion by MADD.
