Vincent Candelora

Vincent Candelora is the leader of the House Republican minority. He has been a member of the House, representing District 86, since 2007 and the GOP leader since 2021.

Candelora is a lawyer and business owner. His professional experience includes working as an employee at Taconic Wire, the owner and manager of the Connecticut Sportsplex, an attorney with Susman, Duffy and Segaloff, and a law clerk with Antoinette L. Dupont.

He is President of North Branford’s Chamber of Commerce, former Editor-in-Chief of the Dickinson Law Review of the North Branford Rotary Club, Saint Augustine Church, and Treasurer of the Republican Town Committee.
