Gov. M. Jodi Rell is doing her exit interviews, allotting 20 minutes to look back over her six-plus years as governor.
WNPR’s John Dankosky aired his interview this morning on “Where We Live,” followed by listener phone calls and a conversation with me. The piece is available online and will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
Rell, who recorded the interview yesterday in her office, is pretty much the only official who has failed to sit with Dankosky for an hour, taking listener calls. He confronted her about it. Rell, who does lots of short, phone-in radio interviews, said she was unaware of the slight.
We get our 20 minutes next week.
