“Wilson-Foley Continues to Lead Republican Candidates in Fundraising” is the headline on a press release today from Lisa Wilson-Foley, one of the four candidates seeking the GOP nomination in the 5th Congressional District.

One problem: She came in second behind Justin Bernier, who raised $160,341 to her $110,799 for the three-month period ending Sept. 30.

Only when you count the $300,000 she loaned her own campaign does she vault into the lead. With the loan, her cash on hand is $457,031, compared to $191,216 for Bernier, $107,956 for Mike Clark and $100,283 for Mark Greenberg.
