Elizabeth Esty said today her campaign for the Democratic nomination in the 5th Congressional District raised $360,000 in the first quarter of 2012, leaving her with $800,000 cash on hand.

She is the first to publish numbers for the fundraising period that ended at midnight on March 31.

She says she now has raised $1.1 million.
