For what it’s worth, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee says a poll it commissioned from Global Strategy Group has Democrat Elizabeth Esty up 44 percent to 35 percent over Republican Andrew Roraback in the 5th District, where most everyone expects a tight race.

Global’s memo on the poll is here.

The 5th is an open seat, giving the GOP its best chance to capture a congressional seat in Connecticut. Democrats here won four of five seats in 2006 and were five for five in 2008 and 2010.
