The curious campaign of Chris Murphy grows curiouser. One of Murphy’s talking points is that he is the candidate of issues, and Linda McMahon is the candidate of smears and personal attacks.

So, Murphy obviously was happy that McMahon was the only major Senate candidate this year unwilling to sit for an hour on WNPR answering questions from newsman John Dankosky and listeners. It fit right into his narrative, right?

Well, as they used to say in the news business, back in the day when candidates shared their daily schedules so they could be covered, “Baby, get me rewrite.”

Murphy has reneged, according Dankosky.

The Murphy campaign has not responded to a message left seeking comment at noon.
