A storm called Nemo is brewing, and is set to hit the North East hard tomorrow. No doubt it’ll hit our already-beleaguered public transit systems hard.
Weather.com reports that Nemo is “is now poised to become the latest example of a powerful, potentially historic, February storm.”
Though the heaviest snowfalls will take place from the coast of Maine through to the Adirondacks in New York, Fairfield County will not be getting hit the hardest- so don’t assume you’ll have the day off school or work tomorrow.
The cities that are expected to receive the most snow are: Boston, Hartford, Providence, Portland (Maine), and Burlington.

The snow will be the heaviest tomorrow night, and will continue through till Saturday. I am choosing to view this snowstorm not at a burden, but as an excuse to get outside and have a snowball fight this weekend.
Metro-North is already planning to add more service in the early afternoon and scale back during the late afternoon as the storm gets really bad. Check www.mta.info for more updates.
