Prepare for a possibly delayed commute later this week. There may be a snow storm coming.

Today you might have noticed how deceivingly cold it was outside. Well, things could get worse between now and Thursday, according to the CT News weather blog.

The National Weather Service issued a briefing Monday afternoon that outlined the risks of the storm, which could have impacts on your commute. Possible ramifications of the storm include heavy wet snow accumulation, high surf, and flooding.

“Projection models show two scenarios unfolding. Either the storm will move off the Mid Atlantic coast and blow out to sea, or it will move off the coast and then turn toward New York and Connecticut,” said the CT News.

With winds that could potentially reach 60mph on Wednesday night, power outages are a definite possibility.

Plan your commute accordingly!
