Hillary Clinton U.S. Department of State

Washington – While Hillary Clinton is asking Connecticut residents for votes in Tuesday’s primary election, she also plans to ask them for some campaign cash.

On Sunday, two days before the state’s primary election, Clinton will be the main attraction at a fundraiser hosted by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and members of the Connecticut congressional delegation in Stamford.

Rep. Jim Himes, D-5th District, said the event will be held at The Loading Dock, a large, loft-like site for weddings and other events that was once part of an industrial complex. “It’s going to be a huge event,” with both large and small donors invited, Himes said.

Clinton is also going to visit the state on Thursday for a campaign stop at a YMCA facility in the North End of Hartford, where the candidate will appear with family members of gun-violence victims from Sandy Hook Elementary School and elsewhere.
