Senate Democratic committee buys air time for Blumenthal

Democrats in Washington are officially worried about Connecticut’s U.S. Senate showdown between Democrat Richard Blumenthal and Republican Linda McMahon. So much so that the Senate Democrats’ campaign arm, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, has purchased $300,000 of TV air time to run ads boosting Blumenthal’s campaign, according to POLITICO.
