A report filed Friday with state elections officials identified state Sen. Andrew Maynard, D-Stonington, as the second legislative target of Voters for Good Government, a Super PAC financed by a Greenwich billionaire, Thomas Peterffy.

The PAC is spending $26,987 for advertising on cable television.

The existence of the committee and its first expenditure — a cable ad buy against state Sen. Steve Cassano, D-Manchester, was disclosed Thursday.
