Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton’s assets include the fastest pair of thumbs in Connecticut politics.

He also answers constituent questions about whether hockey is allowed on a rink in a city park (no) and when Christmas trees will be picked up (now).

Just ask Tom Foley, the 2010 GOP nominee for governor. Foley suggested Friday to the News-Times and during a taping of Face the State to air Sunday that he might have done better with a female running mate. (You may recall his number two in 2010 was a mayor by the name of Boughton.)
