As part of The Mirror’s four-part Policy Pairings Series, Tuesday’s event at Hooker Brewing Company in Bloomfield will feature the panel discussion, “CT Business Climate: 2018,” with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, CBIA CEO Joseph Brennan and MetroHartford Alliance CEO Oz Griebel. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.

The discussion will focus on the long-term future of Connecticut business, moderated by Mirror Capitol Bureau Chief Mark Pazniokas.

Each ticket entitles you to an open sampling of Hooker beers, including brewery staples Blonde Ale, Tenacious, Watermelon Ale, and other seasonal brews. Assorted pub fare will also be served. Patrons will receive a commemorative Policy Pairings pint glass.

The final event in The Mirror’s Policy Pairings Series is next Tuesday, May 19, at Half Full Brewery in Stamford. The discussion will focus on the future of Connecticut’s rail system with Connecticut Transportation Commissioner James Redeker; Amanda Kennedy, the Connecticut director of the Regional Plan Association; and Jim Cameron, former chair of The CT Metro-North Rail Commuter Council.
