Tran is a reporting intern at CT Mirror. She lives in New York and is a rising senior at Wesleyan University, majoring in East Asian Studies. As a Mellon Mays Scholar, she has conducted research on Vietnam, focusing on themes of identity, patriotism, and collective expression. After taking a course in data journalism, she developed a strong interest in journalism and its ability to inform and directly impact the public. She is passionate about connecting with people through interviews and contributing to the community through meaningful storytelling.
