WASHINGTON — The House Ethics Committee released its report on Rep. Elizabeth Esty Thursday, recommending “no further action” on the retiring lawmaker who was criticized for her handling of an abusive staffer.
WASHINGTON — Retiring Rep. Elizabeth Esty has given more than $100,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and spent thousands more polling her constituents and posting digital ads that tout her work in Congress, according to her latest filing with the Federal Elections Commission.
WASHINGTON – Embattled Rep. Elizabeth Esty announced Monday she will not run for re-election. “I have determined that it is in the best interest of my constituents and my family to end my time in Congress at the end of this year and not seek re-election,” Esty said.
