GOP revises health care bill, but it still falters

WASHINGTON — The latest GOP attempt to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act would continue to ban insurers from rejecting people with pre-existing conditions, but make it easier for insurers to jack up the rates for those customers and for states to roll back other consumer safeguards. CT Dems slam Senate health bill that endangers state’s Medicaid expansion

Insurers: Repeal of ACA should go slowly, keep subsidies awhile

WASHINGTON – As Republicans in Congress begin work on a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, the nation’s health insurers are telling lawmakers to keep paying subsidies to the companies and to low-income Americans so they can afford coverage.
